The Structure of Our Courses
Biblical Studies, Theological Studies, and Ministry Studies courses are conducted via video-conferencing or local residency centers. Generally, the course requirements consist of:
• Readings of 3 to 5 works from an instructor-provided book list; All major assignments (term papers and final exams) are due no later than 30 days after the end of the semester. Instructors may set due dates for other assignments. All assignments should be emailed to the instructor. Contact information will be provided by the instructor.
Biblical Languages courses are conducted via short-term residency classes when there is sufficient demand. Contact the Associate Dean for more information.
Foundations courses are based upon a workbook provided to the student. A supplemental reading list may be provided by the instructor. Course assessments will be through weekly homework assignments—no research papers or exams are required. Grades are on a pass/fail basis. Instructors will meet with students via teleconferencing
Seminars are short-residency courses which are assessed by a variety of appropriate means determined by the instructor. These are pass-fail courses.
