DR JOEL ANDERSON; Assistant Professor of Biblical StudiesHaving taught primarily British Literature and Biblical Studies at Christian high schools in California and Arkansas, Dr Anderson is currently the Biblical Worldview co-coordinator at Shoals Christian School in Florence, Alabama, where he is developing a comprehensive Biblical Studies curriculum aimed at the high school level. He holds a BSEd in English Literature from Northwest Missouri State University, an MCS in New Testament from Regent College, an MA in Old Testament from Trinity Western University, and a PhD in Old Testament Theology from the University of Pretoria (South Africa). He is married to Meg, who is studying to be a nurse.
THE REV DR. HENRY BALDWIN; Associate Professor of Biblical StudiesDr Henry Baldwin is an ordained minister with the Anglican Mission and a former missionary with the Evangelical Free Church of America. He earned a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering at the U.S. Naval Academy and holds the MAR in New Testament Studies from Westminster Theological Seminary. He received the PhD in New Testament Theology from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School. He wrote his dissertation under Dr. Murray Harris on topics in Greek Grammar and NT exegesis. He has taught the Bible and NT Theology including Biblical Greek in formal, informal and non-formal settings in many cultures and continents for almost thirty years. His areas of specialization within the NT include the Gospels, Acts, and Revelation. He has written/edited one volume and numerous articles for publication. He is a member of the Evangelical Theological Society.
DR PAUL OWEN; Adjunct Associate Professor of Biblical StudiesDr. Owen is the Chair and Associate Professor of Religion at Montreat College, North Carolina. He is a licensed lay reader in the Anglican Province in America. He holds a BA in Biblical Studies from Life Pacific College and an MA in New Testament from Talbot School of Theology. He completed his PhD at the University of Edinburgh where he studied the Gospels under the renowned Professor Larry Hurtado. A highly awarded and widely published scholar, Dr Owen is currently collaborating with Professor Hurtado on Who is this Son of Man? The Latest Scholarship on a Puzzling Expression of the Historical Jesus. It will published by T&T Clark. Dr Owen’s research interests include Jewish backgrounds to the Gospels and Alternative Religions. He is currently involved in critical but positive dialogue between scholars from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and those from an orthodox, Evangelical perspective.
