A parish-based community of spiritual and ministry formation serving the Anglican Church

There is no substitute for "hands-on" experience. It shapes knowledge and understanding into productive skills. An essential component of our programs for preparing God-called men and women for ordained service is the internship. This is training in the practical skills necessary for ministry. Our students receive this training through our year-long internships, during which they acquire experience and wisdom in a variety of supervised ministry settings. The student is free to recruit an internship supervisor of their own choosing, although it may often be his or her mentor from a previous semester. The school provides a detailed list of core competencies which will assist the student and supervisor in developing a program for skills acquisition and assessment
